Job Description

Supports Marketing team specifically in areas of trade show and sponsorship logistics, event planning and other activities as directed by Marketing leadership.

 

Job Duties:

Trade Shows
Provide support for trade shows (approximately 40 shows per year):

  • Arrange logistical details for mid-size and larger shows with trade show vendor.
  • Work with show service companies to order booth furnishings, utilities, lead scanners, etc.
  • Send out collateral and supplies for smaller shows as needed.
  • Import trade show lists into Salesforce.com.
  • Manage pre and post-show email campaigns.

 

Sponsorships

Facilitate sponsorship process:

  • Follow up on sponsorship requests as they move through the approval process.
  • Facilitate sponsorship submissions and all related requirements.

 

Client/Prospect Events

Facilitate event planning to include:

  • Source suitable venue and event options.
  • Work with Marketing team to create invitation and facilitate RSVP process with Sales/Client Services.
  • Assist with other event logistics as needed.

 

Salesforce.com
Ongoing database maintenance and administrative support including:

  • Import trade show lists using software to merge with existing leads and contacts in Salesforce or create new records.
  • Create Salesforce tasks to alert Sales when lead follow up is needed.

 

Skills/Qualifications:

Bachelors degree with a focus in Marketing.

Previous trade show coordination or event planning experience.

Effective project management skills, ability to meet deadlines, strong administration and organizational skills, attention to detail, self-motivated.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.

Experience working with database or list maintenance required, Salesforce.com experience a plus.
