Job Description

MedData has an excellent career opportunity available as a Cash Posting Specialist to work in The Woodlands, TX. The schedule for this Full Time role is Monday - Thursday 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM and Friday 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Post payments and generate invoices
  • Process mail and TPL checks
  • Prepare documentation for Physician Adjudication project
  • View client software for pulling payments
  • Other duties as requested by management 

Job Requirements: 

  • Prior experience of cash posting process, preferred
  • Ability to determine various agency-generated payers as opposed to other payers.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Third Party Liability cases, lien reductions and approvals
  • Process Third Party checks and forward to clients for posting
  • Demonstrate ability to organize, interpret and set priorities according to work loads
  • Maintain and update MPower account information
  • Knowledge of Multiple Hospital Software applications, desired skills using Microsoft Suite to include Outlook, Excel and Word and various office equipment
  • Ten-key experience by touch
  • Prefer 1-3 years of related experience
