The Software QA Analyst is a full-time position located in our office in Columbus and works within our application development team. This individual is assists in testing software for the web, mobile devices, and any other technology platforms being utilized. The QA Analyst is expected to collaborate with the product, software development, designers, and the company leadership to ensure the highest quality products are delivered to customers and strategic partners.
As a Quality Assurance Analyst you will be responsible for thoroughly testing mobile and web application software on various platforms to ensure proper operations, requirement expectations and the company's standard of delivery. As part of our QA team you will perform regression, feature, smoke testing amongst other testing methodologies. Testing will be performed manually, although there is an opportunity to develop automated tests in the progression of this role. While standard QA methodologies are applied, they must be adapted to meet rapidly changing product expectations with very short test cycles. To be successful in this position, you must display the ability to learn and adapt quickly in our fast paced environment and must have a keen attention to detail.
Candidates are expected to have an average understanding of mobile applications and have common software applications knowledge. Key requirements include: the ability to follow instructions, stay on task, be coachable, strong critical thinking/problem solving skills, troubleshooting skills, strong attention to detail, organization and communication skills, and the drive to develop professionally in the field of QA. Knowledge of SQL, XML, or basic programming knowledge/skills would be a plus.
• Thoroughly testing software for web, mobile, and other devices.
• Working together with the QA and Development Team, as well as the other teams within the technology organization and throughout the company.
• Working toward or having obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• Any software development or other related knowledge of SQL, XML, or basic programming knowledge/skills would be a plus.
• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent written, documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships.
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and work well in a team.
