    Job Description

    MedData has an excellent career opportunity available as a Supervisor - Workers Compensation to work in an office setting located in Draper, UT. The schedule for this full time role is Monday- Friday 7am-4pm. 




    The purpose of this position is to manage representatives and operations. With the support of the Director and the Manager. The Supervisor should act to supervise employees and manage their work flow by defining and reinforcing company standards and regionally unique work systems.



    • Work with client hospitals to maintain operational flow and to anticipate and react to changes led by the client, the Regional Director, the company or by the industry in general
    • Build client hospital relationships and support the staff who work directly with the hospital client
    • Perform 90- day and annual evaluations in conjunction with the Director
    • Manage distribution of work and balancing caseloads
    • Monitor and approve time sheets and time-off requests
    • Assist in hiring process for Patient Advocate staff
    • Train or coordinate training for Patient Advocate staff
    • Provide ongoing support to Patient Advocates
    • Provide regular, objective feedback to Patient Advocates
    • Coordinate processes, maintain communications, and work with other departments and management staff.
    • Keep the Manager aware of any issues or concerns that either staff or the client may have



    • High School Diploma or GED required
    • Some college coursework preferred
    • Experience with Out of State Medicaid plans and procedures
    • Knowledgeable of coding, denials, claim escalation, appeals.
    • Available for travel and overtime as needed
    • Experience working with state and federal programs
    • Critical thinking skills
    • Proficient experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel and Outlook
    • Exemplary communication skills, both orally and written, to a variety of individuals
    • Ability to multitask and ability to function and make appropriate decisions in a fast paced environment
