    Job Description

    JOB SUMMARY

    The Analyst is responsible for the study of financial and operational matters to ensure the health of the organization. This position will be required to work closely with finance, operations, and IT to compile, process, and present data to support business decisions.

     

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Creation of financial and operational analysis materials
      1. ROIs
      2. Pricing models
      3. Performance reports
      4. Metrics reports (KPIs)
    2. Presentation of analyses and models both internally and to external clients.
    3. Development of frameworks for determining effectiveness of products and processes.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

     

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities.

    1. Bachelor degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (or equivalent work experience)
    2. Experience with:
      1. Microsoft Excel (strong skills required)
      2. Microsoft SQL Server
    3. Knowledge of business statistics
    4. Professional, accurate, clear and concise communication and presentation skills

     

    Preferred: 

    1. SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
    2. Python (or other scripting language)
    3. Data mining or Database Administration experience
    4. VBA, C#, VB.NET or other .NET language
    5. DB2 (midrange, ie. i-Series or AS/400)
