    Job Description

     

    POSITION OVERVIEW:

     

    The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for delivery of day-to-day human resources services in support of MedData’s goals, mission, values, and vision. The HR Generalist will work under the Sr. Director of HR Operations and partners with HR leadership, all departments within HR and organizational leaders to develop and deliver sound business solutions for anticipated, existing, and new business challenges.

     

    The Generalist possesses an overall understanding of HR policies and practices and works collaboratively with assigned business units to support the direction of MedData. The purpose of this position is to manage all activities of the Human Resources functions including but not limited to: employment processing, compensation, policies and procedures administration, employee relations and retention, completing personnel transactions, performance management, and regulatory compliance.

     

    In addition to the qualifications and experience listed below, the candidate will have a team player attitude, the ability to be diplomatic, and superb communication skills. Being able to convey difficult and challenging information to managers while meeting constant deadlines is a key attribute.

     

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • Develop human resources solutions by collaborating with managers and other human resource colleagues
    • Improves manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counseling managers and employees.
    • Design and assist in the development of individual development plans with Managers and company leadership
    • Conduct internal workplace investigations
    • Advise employees on health insurance and benefits related matters as needed or sync with benefits team to delight our internal guests. Participate in open enrollment meetings and trainings.
    • Completes special projects by clarifying project objective; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information; fulfilling transactions.
    • Provide consistent application and administration of HR policies
    • Develop and maintain open and active lines of communication with the workforce
    • Conduct training for Managers, Supervisors and all employees on various HR topics including policies, benefits and leadership skills
    • Maintain appropriate employment and other related files in accordance with legal requirements
    • Monitor/Conduct new hire, exit interviews and monthly surveys, monitor trends
    • Turnover reporting and analyzing trends in turnover, and further identify solutions
    • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
    • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
    • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
    • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
    • Responsible for updating and administration of the Company’s policies and procedures.

    QUALIFICATIONS: 

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 3+ years’ experience as a HR Generalist/Specialist with increasing responsibility
    • PHR/SPHR or equivalent SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP designation preferred
    • Ability to travel
